hi i had the implant after my first child, i had it in for 2 years. when it was removed i had a small period two days after then fell pregnant. this is only my experience, but its does say on the leaflet for it that it doesnt affect your fertility once it has been removed unlike other forms of contraception. hope this helps. lex xxx

id wait until after you wedding, it then give you and your husband a chance to enjoy it without any worries or you feeling uncomfortable with preg ailments. and it give you a chance to try while on honeymoon, xxx

wish we was having a honeymoon!! we thought we would leave it til early next year when dd is then 2(dec) and gives us a chance to save lol least i now know that i can fall straight away as with injection it took 15 months for me to get af again then took further 6 months ttc!! x x

i have to say, i had my dd when my ds was just over 3, and for me it was perfect because he was involved in everything from pregnancy, including every midwife app to the scan, and he was a great help when my dd was born with fetching nappies and wipes tojust entertaining his sister, and all with a degree of understanding so he didnt feel pushed out in anyway, also he was out of nappies and out of the pram because i explained gently that the baby needed them now, anyway it worked really well for me but i understand that other ways work for other people. xxx

I had implant in for 7 years. Had it removed last September for TTC was warned it may take a while for my periods to sort themselves out but was pregnant by March
