TTC with Clearblue ovulation kit: 8DPO symptoms and success stories?

Hi All,
ive recently started TTC , i have two children 4&5 so i feel ready for our final addition to complete our family… this is my first month using clear blue ovulation kit. I had a blank circle, 3 flashing smileys and then my static smiley, which matched up perfectly with my flo app, i am currently 8DPO, period is predicted on the 21st of march.. i DTD 4 days in a row in my fertile window and on the peak day (static smiley, highest fertile day on flo).
ive had tender boobs , they feel heavy and sensitive when something brushes them, tbh i do get this as a pms symptom but not this intense, i have also had period like cramps, and lotion like cm, albeit not throughout the day, usually first thing in the morning, i feel like i may be symptom spotting , every headache every twinge im more & more hopeful for this months BFP.
i guess im posting for any success stories or symptoms at 8dpo from anyone else.. this ttc journey can feel isolating at times.

Hey! On ttc #2 I used clearblue for tracking ovulation as well and managed to conceive. I got my faint positive at 9dpo and and it got stronger...said baby is now 2 years old xxx

You are most welcome. You would most likely defo get a faint positive pregnancy test by 10dpo and a strong positive by 12dpo. But then again, everyone is different, so don't over-stress yourself if you test and get a negative. Wishing you the best of luck and hope you get your BFP xx

if you dont mind me asking , did you have any symptoms leading up to your positive?x

I’ve heard it be said that if you’re pregnant enough to have symptoms then you’re pregnant enough to get a positive. If you took a test today you’d find out if your symptoms are related to your normal menstrual cycle or not, that would help the symptom spotting!

I've also been trying for number 3. I had a bfn on day 9, 10 and 11 but yesterday, 12dpo I had a faint positive and again another faint line today. Lots of cramps and sore breasts. I had some fresh bleeding this week but I've put it down to implantation bleeding now. I agree with the isolating feeling. It's so hard to navigate each cycle when you read into every twinge.

I wish i had the courage to test today however i guess the results would depend on when implantation occurred, as not enough HGC would have been produced to give me a positive if it happened a day or so later then i expect x

I just feel different to my normal PMS this month, i think ill try and hold off until im around 12dpo before i test… even though its easier said then done.
how many cycles were you trying before you got your positive if you dont mind me asking x

Oh definitely, but symptoms are also linked to HCG levels so you wouldn’t be having one without enough of the other

This is my second cycle (I appreciate that's quick). It's so hard not to test when you get to the 9/10dpo mark. I told myself I didn't need to worry as it was super early but still managed to get upset on Friday. I've been taking a number of different vitamins throughout the day as I found the vitabiotics ones lengthened my cycles. I have been eating lots of salads for lunch and adding seeds to all of my meals. We used preseed too. My DH has been swimming regularly for a few months and has lost some weight so that might have helped. I also used the clearblue ovulation kit. Looking back at your op, I also woke up on 9dpo with very strong period type cramps and began to convince myself my period maybe starting early. Lotion type cm is a good sign. I've also got headaches.

It was meant to happen for you when it did, no doubt all the positive changes u made helped, thank you for giving me a little insight
i caved and tested at 9DPO which i understand is still very early… am i getting line eyes or is there a second line… i appreciate that its a squinter… if its even there.. what do you think? I’ve attached a picture

I can see a tip of a line at the top of the test. See what happens in the morning? Unless you can bear the wait until Tuesday. It's more than I got at 10dpo, mine was stark white on the same test strip.

I’ll try and hold off testing until Tuesday and see how my body feels over the next couple of days instead… i will post an update when ive tested, thank you again for being so kind & sharing your experience, wishing you all

I had terrible nausea then went on to have HG :(

your test looks really reassuring i can defo see a faint line. hpefully this turns into a big bfp :) xxx

Aww that must have been awful for you! I managed to skip nausea all together in my first two pregnancies thankfully…

Tested again at 10DPO…stark white, negative i think I’ve already lost hope for this month

Hey.. i will test again on the 21st as thats the date my period is predicted, i am okay, im trying not to beat myself up about it , it is my first cycle trying after all , thanks for checking in.. ill update the thread once i have a result xx
