Hi all - just wondered if anyone knows if it is possible to ovulate WITHOUT a temperature shift??

I know its possible to have a temp shift without ovulation but what about the other way round.

Apologies if this has been asked before

TIA

Hmm, well I didn't really have a temp shift last month - was averaging 36.4, then averaging 36.6 - but didn't take temp every day and it fluctuated so no obvious shift... and am now 5 weeks pg..... So, yes I would say it is possible!

Didn't have any EWCM either - was convinced I hadn't ov'd so it came as a bit of a pleasant surprise!

WOW babyignoramus - thats amazing - I have got so wrapped up in thinking I can't have ov'd as I haven't had any EWCM this cycle or a temp shift either.

I really think I am going to give up this temping lark as its obviously not 100% accurate.

Congratulations BTW

Thanks

I think temping can be very useful but it clearly isn't the same for everyone. My only sign of ovulation was a week of serious randiness (not joking!).

Good luck - I know how lucky I've been and hope it happens for you soon x

Thanks babyignoramus.....send some of that luck my way...12m TTC DH has low sperm count/motility/morph and I have irregular cycles...so not much chance I guess!! I keep on hoping though
