Woke up today and no cramps barely any bleeding. Did a test because it was my last one till next cycle and its definitely positive! Blue line came up within 5mins. How are you doing today @CozyCountryHouse ? Any more bleeding? Did you test again this morning?

How sure are you of when you ovulated? Could you have ovulated late and so those tests you took on Sunday and Monday have been day 8 and 9 post ovulation and so too early to test? Then a heavy implantation bleed followed by a positive would make sense?

Otherwise, you have options like a subchorionic hematoma which can cause bleeding?

Or you are having a chemical pregnancy/ miscarriage, sorry.

Fingers crossed for you it’s just a heavy implantation bleed!

No more red bleeding sounds hopeful!! Really hope the test tomorrow has a strong line 🤞

Me too I'm relieved! Would it show on a digital are they just as sensitive do you no?

Could have been implantation bleeding or a very early loss, it took a week for my hcg levels to go after my chemical pregnancy.

Fingers crossed for you

Don't do a digital, they're not very accurate early on. I found the pink dye ones from asda the best.

It could mean various things. I would give it a week or so and then test again (But I am old and we did not test until we were a week or two overdue).
Unusual bleeding is not uncommon in early pregnancy, neither is cramping. Has your sense of smell changed?

CozyCountryHouse · 13/03/2026 13:02

I might hold off till tomorrow to test again, I don't have any symptoms although I feel sick but I'm so anxious so think that's why

You can get digitals that have a sensitivity of 10miu. Try one of those. I had positives on digitals at 10dpo.

Is that the the clear blue one that flashes orange?? Or the standard one x

My advice is speak to gp if your concerned. It could be a number of things. Its uncommon but it happens , sometimes women experience heavy bleeding. Rarely women have periods throughout their entire pregnancy and dont even realise. Some women have light bleeding but as yours was heavy id ask for hcg bloods.
If you have had a early pregnancy loss, its possible your test can still be positive. The reason depends. You may still have hcg in your system. It take a awhile for hcg to clear . Have you done any tests since, is there any progression in the lines? It
If you have had a loss, the fact your still producing positive tests could mean theres some tissue left . That's what I what told at epu , to test until im negative as that would mean by body has cleared any tissue out as the tissue could still be producing hcg.
I think thats unlikely though as if anything it seems like you implanted late so hcg shouldn't be that high but you may have just caught it. In which case test in a few days and it should be negative
My last pregnancy I tested on 14dpo negative, tested at 15dpo negative. 16dpo negative. 17 dpo .. faint positive, i implated late and also started bleeding that day. Id had a chemical

That’s not a positive test is just an evap. They are thin and very blue. I’m not sure how familiar you are with evaps but clearblue more often that not give these evap lines. There is hundreds of threads about them. The test you’ve posted isn’t a positive test.
