Success 4/5 days before ovulation

We only managed to dtd once this month, around 4/5 days before ovulation . I know it's technically possible to get pregnant from this but I was wondering if anyone has been successful?

Mostly just asking out of interest as i've already decided to count myself out for this month

Its only took one go with 2 of my pregnancies

I think the optimal timing is any of the 3 days leading up to ovulation but sperm can survive for 5 days so you never know

Do you know when you ovulated? I'm currently pregnant after a one-off 7/8 days before I expected to ovulate. So assuming all the stats about sperm only living 5 days are accurate, I can only assume ovulation occurred sooner than anticipated.

No, i dont know for sure. Im just basing off of my peak from my ovulation tests so I could have ovulated earlier or later than I thought.
