TWW on progesterone - feeling really nauseous?

Anyone else taken progesterone in the two week wait and gone mad with symptom spotting?

I’m currently 8dpo (I think) and am on cyclogest. I had a negative pregnancy test this morning (I know probably too early) but I just feel so pregnant - I have sore boobs, I’m really tired, crazy vivid dreams, and today I have woken up feeling really really nauseous. I know these are probably just side effects from the progesterone but it’s driving me crazy symptom spotting!

I took progesterone to conceive my first son and I remember feeling crazy tired in the two week wait, but I didn’t have any nausea until 6 weeks or so, so it’s slightly thrown me how crap I feel…

I would say at this stage its most likely progesterone. I would wait until around 10 to 12dpo before testing again. I wish you all the luck.

I’ve not used progesterone in the TWW, only from 6 weeks.

currently 9 weeks with #2 but with both, but especially this pregnancy I KNEW I was pregnant way before a test would show because of how nauseas I felt and tired come to think of it.

since starting progesterone I can’t say my symptoms are much different, I just put it down to pregnancy symptoms but I 1000% felt pregnant and knew I was from about 8 DPO. Had a negative test at 10 DPO and positive at 12

Thanks @Miraclemuma03 @Havanalily1806. That’s interesting that you felt / knew you were pregnant but didn’t test positive until 10dpo. I tested negative this morning (9dpo) which again I know is too early so I should probably stop doing it and driving myself mad! I’m just finding it way harder not to symptom spot compared to last time - probably because I now know what it’s like to be pregnant and so have a frame to reference. Gah I just hate the two week wait!

I get alll those symptoms from taking progesterone, cyclogest as well. When I got a positive test, the symptoms were exactly the same as I get when I test negative as well so I know it is all down to the added progesterone in my system.
