Did I ovulate…?

Hi all, I’m just wondering whether anyone can shed some light on my easy@home LH tests - first time using them and while I’ve seen a couple of upwards trends I haven’t had a positive at all ☹️

My cycles are regular as clockwork, so it hadn’t occurred to me until now that I might not be ovulating - now I’m eeever so slightly freaking out that I haven’t been! I had EWCM (briefly) on CD15 but I understand this isn’t a certain sign.

Do some people have lower baseline LH and ovulate anyway?

I haven’t been taking BBT as I didn’t want to get overly obsessed with tracking (you can probably tell how well that’s going from how often I’ve tested…!) but I think I’ll try that next cycle if no luck this time around.

For context, I’m 32 (partner is 39) and this is our 5th cycle TTC #1.

Thanks ladies! ❤️

I'm using these strips too and haven't had a positive result yet. I have heard that if you drink a lot it can dilute the result so it's not as dark and that you can hold your urine for 2-4 hours so it's darker. I haven't tried this though.

It looks like CD14 could have been your peak since it got darker and then lighter again but I do know it is meant to be darker or just as dark as the control line.

Edited

I’ve heard this too so I might have to give it a go, I have a bladder like a pea though 😂

Thanks for your reply, it’s reassuring to know it’s not just me!

I think there is something wrong with whatever you’re using to analyse the strips because CD14 at 9.50pm is a clear positive! The test line is as dark as the control line. Good luck! X

CD14 looks like a clear positive to me! The app is good for tracking, but I found that it was never that good at accurately judging the darkness of the test lines. I would just go by your eyes for that.

So I had results like this… we got pregnant during second cycle. For some women the LH doesn’t even go that high but that doesn’t mean you didn’t ovulated or your window is so so small you jus don’t chance it in the precise moment. I was tracking every single day, twice a day AM/PM, I don’t think my LH ever gone over 0.80.
Your CD 14 and 15 looks very strong !! Perhaps he different test, I had generic Amazon ones

Utardelis · 02/03/2026 07:44

CD14 seems to be your peak

ignore the numbers on pre mom mine never went above low but I very clearly had a rise and peak in comparison to my others

The app is good for documenting the pictures but go off your own eye - once you start noticing the test line going a bit darker than your normal test line (doesn't need to be as dark) that’s your go time ☺️

there’s a lot of studies which show many womens “peak” doesnt show in urine until several hours after so its the initial “surge” (rise of lh) you want to be looking for and then continue on until the day or two after your peak if you can to make sure youre covered

good luck!! 🤞

Thanks so much for the replies.

I was so thrown by not even getting a ‘high’ reading, but I’ll go with my line eyes in future!

We DTD on CD13, 15 and 17 anyway so hopefully caught the right moment… time will tell 🤞

Deffo don't just rely on the apps, if it looks like the line is dark to you then treat it as a positive. Mine always are deemed low but the app but in 'real life' look the same darkness as the test line! I'd deffo say CD14 was your peak.

BudgetBuster · 02/03/2026 12:13

I think the lighting is causing issues for the app to pick up the tests accurately. As others have said CD14 evening looks a clear positive test so I would think that was your peak.
