implantation bleeding? AF? unsure!

AF was due saturday, and got BFN on first response hpt. sunday i got a pinkish discharge, not much, and have had a little brown cm today (not very much at all...less than a tea spoon in total- tmi!)
could it be implantation bleeding? AF normally arrives full on...not like this. (this would be my first AF since ds1 was born. i had 8 months with no af, then doc put me on pill for a few months to help regulate. this is my first month off pill, so first real AF.)
any thoughts?

Could be either implantation bleeding or start of AF.

Did you do any other tests than first response? Last month I did a first response and had a negative, and then got four faint lines of a clear blue which actually got fainter as I went on. I then had a very slow and small trickle of blood with AF turning up properly two days later. This was very unusual for me. Doctor said it was probably a chemical pregnancy. A possible explanation for you?

Fingers crossed it is implantation bleeding though...recommend you test again with clear blue if full on bleed hasn't arrived yet.
