TTC after HyCoSy

I’m just wondering if I can get some advice.. I had a HyCoSy test today, after 2 years of trying post-ectopic pregnancy & salpingectomy. Seemed to go well, but the doctor said to ‘definitely not’ TTC this month (I’m on cycle day 9 so was expecting to TTC in a few days)
I’m confused as I have read so many people falling pregnant the same cycle as their HyCoSy, and I’d hate to miss the chance this month, but obviously don’t want to go against the doctor’s advice..!!!??!

Anyone have any experience?

I did have a HyCoSy but that was 10yrs ago and can't honesty recall them telling me not to TTC that month and I too would want to know why 🤔

My tubes were clear, no pain during the procedure at all, just a tiny amount of pink discharge when wiping afterwards. I didn't conceive for another 12mths, so I don't think it made any difference in my case at all. Sorry, I haven't helped, but a hopeful bump to someone that can. x

Weird. My sister conceived right after hers… I’m sure they were told sometimes this happened…

Yeah it’s really odd, I’m really torn over what to do! I’ve read so much online saying it’s fine to continue TTC that month but don’t want to go against direct orders 😩
feels like a waste of a month though!
