mirena coil removal/ovulation

I recently had my mirena coil taken out as I am ttc. Not been getting periods but getting some cramps at end of month makes me think that’s when I get my period. Did bleed after removal but not sure if it was a true period.

Now on day 7 of flashing smiley case from Clear Blue testing kit. Anyone been in the same boat with when their cycle returned and how long I can keep testing for ovulation? Been having a lot of sex and would be nice to know when we can have a break 🤣. Feeling like I am never going to get to see the static smiley face at present!

I got my mirena removed in August - about 2 weeks later I had a very light period, then I ovulated around 2 weeks after that (wasn’t testing but I used natural cycles to track my temperature so I could see when I ovulated). That cycle was a normal length and from then on my ovulation was regular on day 14 of my cycle. We didn’t start ttc until November but I then got pregnant our second cycle trying.

Could you try tracking temperature alongside the ovulation tests? I found it much easier to pinpoint my ovulation that way.

I could def start doing that next month. Did you get any bleeding when you had it removed? I think I may have had a period then but not sure. It’s making everything a bit more confusing this month!
