Hi. We have been TTC for 7 months but I have only just started to work out what my cycle actually is!! I had tried ovulation kits but I now think I was testing at the wrong time so never picked up ovulation. I now think I ovulate on day 23 of a 30 to 31 day cycle. Is this a problem - should I go back to the doc? (I have had all the basic tests previously but they said I have to try for longer). Help!!!

yes it is a problem. It leaves you with a luteal phase (period from ovulation to menses) with 7/8 days which is not long enough for successful implantation. Anything less than 10-11 days is considered problematic.

Are you ovulating at all? Is that what the tests were for? How are you determining ovulation?
