Ttc - ovulate on day 10/11? Anyone else ?

we have been ttc for the past 6 months and have been using the clear blue digital ovulation tests. When the solid face shows does that mean you are ovulating or due to ovulate after that? Having read posts on here people seem to know when they ovulate and I wondered how? The solid face seems to show quite early in my cycle so this month it showed on day 10 and last month was day 10/11 too. Cycle is usually 28 days. Anyone else ?

If you want to know exactly when you ovulate tracking your temperature is the best way (BBT). Once you get a solid smiley face you should ovulate in the next 24-48 hours. But there’s no way to know for definite that you do unless you track BBT as well. Getting a solid smiley face on day 10 could still mean you don’t ovulate until day 12. Then if your cycle is 28 days that’s a 16 day luteal phase which is well within normal range.
