Clear blue ovulation tests

Hi, I have been using the clearblue advanced ovulation tests I’ve had 3 days of blank low fertility and now 8 days of flashing smiley. I started testing from day 7 as my cycle was 24 days last month. Generally it’s between 29-33 days. I am worried I am not ovulating, it feels really draining and people say don’t stress it affects conception but feel like I can’t help it! Really want to see the solid smiley! Has this happened to anyone else?

I never got on with these tests when ttc! I swapped to the easy@home ones when ttc for both of my babies and found them much better, you can see the lines and seeing that was reassuring. I used the clear blue & easy@home at the same time when ttc my first and easy@home showed a clear blazing positive on the same day clearblue was just flashing, conceived that month. If I’d been going just by clearblue I would have missed it.

I have been trying easy @ home strips too but the numbers just seem constantly low

You need to test twice a day. Most likely you are missing your peak which has come and gone within one of the 24 hour gaps in testing. I'd guess your peak was on CD13 but in the morning so it hasn't been picked up by your tests.

I was doing clear blue advanced with first morning urine and then in the afternoon or evening I was using the easy @ home strips to avoid missing a peak. On cycle day 13 I had a flashing smiley on the clear blue advanced test and the 0.36 on the easy home strips in the evening.

I'd stick to easy@home both morning and afternoon. Sounds like CD13 was ovulation. It's best to do later morning, not first morning. I never got a strong line with easy@home, you're just looking for the reading to go up.

Thank you I will do! Did you get pregnant even when it the test line didn’t go dark? How high did your reading go?

I think the Clear Blue recommends NOT using FMU - I was using the CB simpler ones (where there is blank vs smiley) and got a smiley on CD16 this month, but always testing later afternoon
you might have a longer cycle this month?
