Hi
period due in approx 4 days
Pregnancy tests so far coming up negative
lots of symptoms but of course could be that period is due.
Surely if i have symptoms and i was pregnant then at 4 days before im due on, something should be showing up
on the tests?
i know i should wait till im actually due but its so soon what difference would it actually make?!
im going to assume im not .

Mate, I’m in the exact same boat as you! Period is due Monday and I’ve been cramping and backache since Wednesday 😩 had 2 misleading pregnancy tests as well (looked like there was a line but cracked it open and there was nothing on the actual strip 🙈) I’m also assuming I’m out but I just feel different this month and it would be mental to be cramping for 5 days before im
due on 😩 such a mind fook isn’t it. Just know you’re not alone. In solidarity ❤️

Yep keep waiting. I think it’s less important when your period due compared to how many days since you ovulated.
all the “6 day early” etc. Tests are done on people whose periods are always due 16 days after ovulating. so I think of them as “from 10 days after” etc.
(it actually says this on the leaflet of some if you read the whole thing)

Symptoms can be from progesterone hence getting a negative test

I've only ever taken pregnancy tests on the day my period was due or just after. If you can wait it makes it so much easier as a proper clear line will show on a test rather than squinting and maybe seeing something. My last (unsuccessful) pregnancy started as a very faint line on the day my period was due and it was horrible as I had no idea whether I was pregnant or not, the line did eventually get darker but I'm glad the previous 2 times were a lot more obvious than that!
