Anyone want to keep me company?

I’ve had 4 scans over the last week, should be ready to ovulate now but no surge yet so trigger shot done tonight. I start cyclogest on Wednesday, and transfer next Monday.

This will be my fourth transfer, none successful so far. This time round I’m on levothyroxine for slightly high TSH so really hoping that makes the difference, also progesterone blood test on transfer day which I’ve never had before.

love to know anyone else going through similar!

Having done the trigger an hour ago, I can feel my ovary twitching - IVF is so weird!

All the best we did a fresh transfer in Nov which was successful, such a process I agree.

not in same situation but I’m here if you want someone to post to xx

@RenisenbAh congratulations! Was it your first try or have you been through more rounds before? We have two DC already but my wife carried them, so although I’m (still) trying for a first pregnancy, it won’t be the end of the world if it doesn’t happen as the 1yo and 4yo are enough. Feels like a very privileged position to be going into it with and so different to before #1 or #2!

Wishing you the best of luck! IVF isn’t for the faint of heart.
Not in the same situation but have been there. My fourth transfer was my successful one and I now have an almost one year old boy.
The blood test is definitely a good idea. I had to have a significantly higher amount of progesterone than the norm which they hadn’t done in the first three and I think that’s why they failed.

sending you all the good vibes for a successful transfer!

Hi @badjeansit was our first try so feel VERY blessed and fortunate.
No other children though so it felt very high pressure.
that’s great you can see it like that with your older kids but I’m sure it’s still tough at the time!
when do you do the test

Renisenb · 27/01/2026 18:10

Did your wife do IVF as well if you don’t mind saying - I guess that’d help if you’ve been through it even if from the other side?

That’s interesting, I’ve only heard of low progesterone making a difference. My last clinic never tested, they just increased my progesterone each time which might not have been helping?! Congratulations on your baby - hope fourth time is a winner for me 😁

Yes she did, and I also did a round in between the two kids - one egg collection, three transfers, so it feels familiar by now! This embryo is from her eggs though so I’m hoping she might make better quality embryos that I did?!

Wow so you know the ropes! Glad you were able to have 2 lovely kids from it.

yes hopefully that should improve the embryo.

i know my progesterone was 6x what they needed within about 4 days so it was high and clearly didn’t jeopardise anything, but not sure if it can be a factor. All the best for Monday xx
