Sterilisation after 2nd C-section

Hi!

im currently pregnant with my second child and I am adamant that I’d like to be sterilised during my section this time . My first child is disabled and I’m now 30 and partner 36. We definitely don’t want anymore and are 100% certain on that. I’m worried that they’ll refuse as most people I’ve seen online having this done are on their third baby. Has anyone had this done after the 2nd and have any advice?

I did it after my second and never regretted it for a moment.

Every health care professional actually seemed pleased and said "more women should consider doing this".

It's a great option, no more contraception, no effect on hormones.

No midwife or doctor tried to dissuade me ever. Not so much as a "but are you sure" moment.

Tbf, I was very sure and that probably came across

I was asked if I wanted it done with my 2nd. I chose not to but I dont see why they would have an issue if you're sure of your decision.
