Currently feeling quite lost.
I’ve had 4 MCs and was referred to recurrent miscarriage at the hospital. I finally got an appointment where he sent me for blood tests at a certain point in my cycle to see if there was any treatable causes for the MCs.
i got the results a few weeks later which basically said they couldn’t see any reason for it and then discharged me….
so what now? My last MC was a year ago and we’ve been trying for a long time.
what do I do now? Has anyone else been through this?

I had 6 confirmed MC altogether. I say confirmed because the likelihood is I had more very early MC’s too but I just hadn’t tested. I was under the care of an IVF consultant anyway, and so I was advised (charged!) to have what were called Chicago Tests to see if there was an underlying issue that was causing recurrent miscarriages. I had a whole cocophony of blood issues and gene mutations that came back as a result of those tests. I had immune therapy during my last cycle and baby stuck.

Clexane and Steroids gave me my baby in the end, although I did lose his twin.

I recommend the book by Dr Beer if you don’t already have it ‘is your body baby friendly’. It’s a fantastic, informative book and well worth having.

Thank you for taking the time to reply.
that’s great information. I’ve just purchased the book you’ve recommended so thank you for that.
