Hi everyone, looking for some advice or to see if anyone has experienced something similar.

My last period started on 15th December. I had unprotected sex on 31st December and 1st January. On 3rd January (cycle day 20) I started bleeding, but it’s not been heavy like my normal periods — not enough to need pads or tampons.

I’m still bleeding now, and the blood is maroon/brown in colour and watery. When wiping I’ve also noticed grey, jelly-like chunks. Over the last 2-3 hours I’ve started getting symptoms of thrush as well (itching/irritation).

I’m unsure what this could be — implantation bleeding, hormonal bleeding, infection, or something else.
Do you think I should take a pregnancy test at this point, and would this be something worth calling 111 about?

Any advice or similar experiences would really help. Thank you.

I would just wait and see, it’s not a 111 thing, but I would probably test.

Call 111 even just for peace of mind xx
