Hello, I have been ttc and using the Premom app, I am currently 15 months pp and still breastfeeding, my periods came back at 12 months pp and my cycles are around 36/37 days atm. I had quite a dark test yesterday so thought I am deffo about to ovulate (I am due ovulation around this time according to my apps) I tested again today and it isn’t as dark so does this mean my peak was yesterday? I’m just a bit confused as my tests are usually dark for around 2/3 days whereas this one was for only one day. Any advice appreciated Thankyou.

As you didn't test the next morning you may well have peaked in the early hours and by afternoon it was down again. So I'd say you did ovulated then but because of when you tested it's not super obvious.

But I'd also keep testing! It might just have been a fluctuation and without the extra test time it's hard to know. Test morning and evening though.

@Whizzingwhippethey thanks for your reply☺️ I did actually test this morning but I didn’t record it🙈 it was very light this morning too which makes me think maybe I peaked during the night and then it’s dropped rapidly today, I will keep on testing just to be sure 😊

They look strong but not positive yet (both lines same strength or test line stronger), def looks like you’re in the ballpark though. I’d dtd anyway just in case.

but about short peaks - my positives last 3-4 hours lol. Like my morning pee will be faint, my 2pm pee will be extremely strong with test line stronger, 6pm back to faint. So you can have very short surges

@Plumchummheyy :) ahh that’s interesting I have never noticed any short peaks mine always last around 2 days, but I’m thinking because I’m breastfeeding still maybe it has knocked me off my usual and I peaked through the night, I did another test this morning and it was light again. I will keep testing and see if anything happens. Thanks for your reply ☺️
