Worried Early Pregnancy
0 replies
Elishattc · Yesterday 21:20
Stressing out slightly and would be great for some help. My first and second HCG beta tripled 2 days apart 42-129. Had another today 4 days apart and it's more than doubled but definitely not tripled at 735, I'm 17-18dpo. My first pregnancy and loss I remember I got fixated on the numbers and they also slowed down and we lost the baby so I'm just freaking out.
Has anyone had a similar positive story.
My scan isn't till the 15th. I’m not concerned on the numbers I’m concerned on the slowing down of the rate 🥺

Your hcg doesnt triple as you get further along. It only doubles every 2 to 3 days until 6 to 8 weeks when it then slows down doubling rate to every 4 to 5 days and then ultrasound is used to track how the pregnancy is progressing. So far your numbers are completely on track. Early pregnancy unfortunately is a wait and see game. Having a prior loss really does take the joys out of future pregnancies but my advice for right now is to not obsess over the numbers and relax, enjoy the fact that your pregnant no matter what happens and leave the worrying and stressing for when there is a problem. Put yourself into a happy little pregnancy bubble until the ultrasound. Im Sorry for your previous loss and i hope this little bean is your rainbow baby.
