13DPO Line Progression

Hi all, I had a chemical pregnancy back in August and since then struggled to conceive alongside diagnosis of PCOS.

However this month I went full out with tracking LH and BBT and amazingly had a very faint positive test at 10DPO despite a BFN on 9DPO. I’ve attached a photo of line progression since - I don’t really have any symptoms other than missed period and a bit gassy (tmi!).

With my history I’m nervous to get excited but wondered if this progression looks good or not? I had a positive clear blue digital (1-2 weeks) yesterday. The last test is 13DPO (today) and I think it looks quite dark but I’m just so so scared.

Any words of reassurance out there? I want to get an early scan to see a heartbeat so I can relax a bit but I’m unsure if to wait until 8 weeks or just get one at 6/7 weeks just to put my mind at ease.

Hi! So sorry to hear about your struggles!

I completely understand the worry due to 3 previous losses also, it’s hard to get excited when the excitement the last time was tainted.

I use these tests also and have had my BFP this cycle, I would say your line progression is looking really good! Especially if you just compare the one from 30/12 and today’s as your HCG rises over 48 hours. I had such faint lines at first which panicked me quite a bit but then I watched peoples videos or them testing with these strips and everyone was saying that they take so long to get dark, which eased my mind a bit.

regards to the scan, I think you should do what you think would ease your mind the most, I have to have a scan between 6 and 7 weeks anyway because of history, but I’m fully aware that you don’t always see the heartbeat at that stage, as long as everything is heading in the right direction, I’m hoping that helps with my anxiety haha.

congratulations and sending lots of luck✨
