Boots early pregnancy test

I did a boots early pregnancy test at about 5pm today so not fmu. A faint line came up within the time frame and stayed for at least 10 mins because after that I had to go out so I put the test away. I checked the test again a few hours later and the line was gone. I think I am about 9/10 dpo, could this be a bfp?

At this stage, quite possibly the start of something, but too early to tell for sure. At 10 dpo I got a very definite positive.

Hard to say! I had complete negative at 11dpo then BFP at 13dpo.
depending on your personality either
a) try to forget and enjoy Christmas and come back and test on Boxing Day when you’ll be 13dpo.
b) test Christmas morning so you don’t have it niggling you!

Yea I don’t know, I did another one this morning and the same thing happened but when I went back it was still there so I opened it but there was no line on the strip, I’d say it was just a shadow. Were you testing negative even with the early tests? Thinking this just isn’t my month

yes the negative ones were on the 5 day early I think. Definitely they were meant to be more sensitive, but they were the cheap version.

when you read the leaflet on the “early” ones it’s always something like 50% will get a positive test using early.

the clearest positives were on Sainsbury’s + Clear & Simple (plastic ones not the strips) at 16dpo.
Did 4 that morning so I wouldn’t doubt any result.

@Renisenb ok thank you! I have read a good few posts of women getting bfp after 11dpo so I’ll just have to wait and see I suppose

I had a few false positives on those Boots tests. I’d be wary of them.

The way it played out for me 11 dpo was I got a weak positive line on a blue test, but felt convinced enough anyway as I just 'knew'. I decided to verify by driving down to the pharmacy and getting a pink line test, which came up fast and strong. No doubt then.
