I’m 39 and very fortunate to have 3 dc who are 16,12&10.
Been with dh for 4 years and would really like an ‘ours’ baby. Is anybody else a similar age and ttc? Or ant successful stories of those that have conceived at this age?

I'm 39 in May and we have just started trying to conceive number 2 x

36 and trying for #1 - while I’m adamant I’ll be ‘mid 30s’ til 39, it’s probably tenuous!

Sorry just to add, had our first at 37 and got pregnant straight away first cycle trying so very possible at this age I think:)

What cycle are you on this time?
I did get pregnant by surprise at 35 but lost the baby.

Haha I know the feeling. I only became late 30’s at 39!! My argument is mid 30’s is 35-38 😂😂

Hey, I'm really sorry to hear that. How do you feel about TTC now? I am just on my first cycle. My period is two days late, but I think I mucked up with my ovulation date. My cycles are longer since having my son and I think i'm ovulating later, with a first surge that fails and a later one that is successful. I think we probably did enough to cover both dates ISH, but have a feeling deep down we haven't been successful this month. I had a negative test a few days ago, plan to test tomorrow morning and wait on my period! I worry things are starting to slow down for me and I am approaching peri or perhaps in it already? Who know! x

I am nervous and worried the chances of miscarriage are higher with my age now.
Im also on my first cycle since coming off the pill. Today is day 8 of not taking the pill. I had ewcm yesterday so thinking ovulation is around now. I’ll be testing around January 4th.
I hope you get your bfp soon.

Hi. I am 40 pregnant with my 4th. My other children are 20,13 and 3. I would start looking into egg quality and taking the necessary supplements ASAP. I had 3 miscarriages to get here and I’m sure it was down to egg quality. Read the book “ It starts with the egg” to get some top tips to become successful conceiving! Good Luck 💕

I'm 34 (35 Dec 28th) I'm trying to conceive baby 3. My children are 15 and 13. Currently 2 days post Ovulation after having my first period in 13 years! I had my mirena coil removed in November.

I’m 37, 38 in feb and TTC baby no2, I have DD who is 3.5 and was conceived after literally 1 try when I was 33. I’m in my first cycle, CD19 and 4DPO I think. I’m so anxious this time around as we were so lucky before, we have waited as we wanted to enjoy the time with DD and have had some career uncertainty plus needed to do work on our property; everything is resolved now and we are in a good position to expand our family.

Although older I feel like I am physically healthier this time; I am a better weight and no longer drink or smoke. I’m just hoping that 2026 is our year as DD would be the most wonderful big sister. My cycles are a regular 25 days and I ovulate each month, just a bit worried about my age and a short luteal phase.

Best wishes to you all x

Im 35, turning 36 in April. Currently ttc my first with my partner (36) who has a 5 year old son from a previous relationship. Being a stepmum is wonderful but also incredibly difficult as I desperately want my own child with my partner.

Last month I got to two false positives which I am now wondering if it was a chemical pregnancy. Ill never know though.

Currently 10dpo on my 4th cycle trying, tested again this morning with fmu and completely negative. AF due on Monday so I think i am out this cycle! Sending baby dust to you all 🌠
