dark ovulation tests 4 days before period?

hi, has anyone else had quite dark ovulation tests even on cycle day 26? period is due in 4 days, i’ll post my ovulation test strips

Hi OP, I have had ovulation tests go dark a few days before my period too, not too sure why it happens though.

I have also heard though that ovulation tests can pick up early pregnancy as the hormone is similar... have you tried using an early pregnancy test just to check? x

yes i will do, i did a couple of tests earlier i had these two with something on then a couple more half an hour later had nothing on them at all!! very strange im 7dpo according to my app/tests etc

I can see lines there, 7dpp is very early so wait a few days and test again?

I’ve had the same twice before. Once it turned out I was pregnant and the other time I couldn’t find any reason for it!

so strange! i’ve done one this morning and it’s negative from what i can see, only tested because of my lh strips staying so dark!
