Ovulation induction and timing after trigger

Hi.

I’ve been ttc for a couple of years with a miscarriage this summer after natural conception and polypectomy before that.

I’ve just started ovulation induction with letrozole and a trigger as I wasn’t keen to jump straight into ivf knowing I can conceive naturally.

I’m doing this through plan my baby (a remote / telehealth clinic) but they do scans and bloods throughout.

I took my trigger shot of Zivafert on Saturday. We BD on Fri, Sat, Sun and Tues. (Unfortunately Monday was a no go as we were both exhausted tbh).

On Thursday I had a progesterone blood test which confirmed ovulation and I’ve been asked to start Cyclogest.

However, the clinic is telling me to keep having sex every other day until I take my pregnancy test on 22nd Dec!

I have all kinds of issues with sex due to chronic skin condition and so I really want to be able to time sex around the best window.

has anyone else done a medicated cycle with trigger and timed intercourse and what was the advice on when to have sex?

I cannot understand why they are telling me to keep going when my understanding is that ovulation typically occurs 36-40 hours after the trigger shot. By tomorrow we’ll be at 7 days afterwards. I can’t understand their advice. And it’s not helping with my skin issues.

Can anyone offer up the advice they were given and any thoughts on above? Am I misunderstanding something?!
