FLASHING SMILEY CONFUSION

Hi!!
TTC baby 4. Breastfeeding still & no return period as yet!
Using the ovulation from Clear blue with the dreaded smilies!

day one & 2- negative & day 3 onwards flashing smilies! I am now on day 8 of flashing… is it possible I missed the surge? As I just randomly picked a day to start due to having no idea where I’m at in my cycle (no periods!) Does it go back to an empty circle once ovulation happens? Or keep flashing?… My CM was egg white around day 4 of testing and has now gone thicker as I would expect post ovulation!! Confused.com!

Also am I wasting my time TTC if no returned period?

Hi! I’ve just started using these clear blues for the past 2 cycles and I must have missed Novembers cycle peak because all I got was flashing smileys also. But this cycle I got 3 mornings of flashing smileys then on the 3rd day I also tested in the evening and got a static smiley, do you only do the one test a day? Or have you been checking it in the evening also? I got my static on Tuesday evening and haven’t retested yet but when I do I will let you know if it shows as the empty circle.
How long has it been since you have had a period?
