Hi everyone,
Im 34 and have been ttc for our second for over a year ( i have had a early miscarrige and 2 chemical preganacy in this time). It took us 13 cycles with our first so I expected it to take a little while with the second however I feel a greater sence of urgency and dissapointment each month with my age creeping up. Im starting to feel very down about it. We have had tests and all have come back fine so far.
I was wondering if anyone of in the same boat or if anyone has any success stories of falling pregnant after trying for over a year. Xx

In the same boat and feeling utterly hopeless after the last miscarriage. As I’ve been typing I’ve realised we’ve been trying for 18 months. I keep fighting the urge to do something big like sell the house or leave my job because I think it’s all a reaction to this. Sending lots of love!

OMG, I though there was something wrong with me. I'm definitely fightimg the urge to quit my job (like that would help lol)

Sending you both love. I understand the urge to do something drastic to make it happen. Its a tough journey to go through and every month is a rollercoaster.

I think it’s partly raw grief and thinking if only I can focus on something else the pain will be less and also hoping if something distracts me it might happen.
I have an appointment in Jan to talk about aspirin. Has anyone had any experience with that?

Did you have a c section with your first? If you did, ask for a scan of your scar. Apparently small holes/ areas that haven't healed properly are common and can cause issues conceiving a second child. I only found out I had one nearly 4 years after having my son!
