Hi ladies

I feel like I've posted on here a lot recently trying to get some answers/make me feel better! 😂

So as the title says I'm a bit confused...

Basically started what I thought was AF 10dpo (2 days ago) so I thought oh well back to square one. However it seems a lot lighter than my usual period which is SUPER heavy the first couple days normally. This time it's enough to show in my pad, but not soaking it. Also it usually lasts around 5-6 days but this time when I've woke up it's hardly there. There's some but not what it should be at this stage usually.

Could this be implantation bleeding I've been experiencing? And has anyone had similar bleeding and it turn into BFP?

Wondered if it's worthwhile grabbing a test incase..

Anyway thanks in advance for any advice/experiences!

Whilst I've had no direct experience with this, I think it would depend on the colour. If it was brown then could well be implantation bleeding as it's 'old blood'. However if it was red I wouldn't believe so - no harm in grabbing a test and using it if AF doesn't turn up!

I had implantation bleeding when pregnant with my daughter and it wasn’t brown - it was pinky red. Definitely like blood. I assumed my period was arriving early, but it only lasted a couple of hours and was very light. Got a positive test 4 days later. She’s 2 now!

The body does strange things sometimes, so it doesn’t guarantee that you’re pregnant. But fingers crossed for you OP! I’d get an early detection test today and do one first thing tomorrow.

Doesn't seem like implantation as I understand it, but tbh every woman is different. 12DPO is far enough to get a clear positive, so go for it I guess

Thank you! Yep our bodies sure know how to confuse us 😂 well mine is more red so I'm silly to assumed it's possible implantation but the only reason I asked is I've saw a few people say they thought they had their period and it wasn't! But I'll definitely do a test tomorrow just to rule it out at least x

No you're probably right! I think just because the period seems so different to my usual cycles. I'll test tomorrow I think to double check but I'm thinking it's just my period...

They really do! And it’s so hard when you’re TTC and looking for any sign or symptom of pregnancy.

Definitely do a test and let us know how you get on! Fingers crossed for you OP
