Poor line progression 16dpo

Hi all,
I had a positive pregnancy test at 14DPO on Saturday, lots of symptoms since which haven’t really faded.
I thought I’d check progression this morning and my test appears a little lighter. Taken roughly the same time (an hour earlier than 2 days before). Top test is 16dpo and bottom 14dpo.
also been tracking using LH strips to look at HCG concentration increasing although I know this is not what they are made for, and this definitely got darker this morning.
has anyone experienced similar tests and had a successful pregnancy? I feel so upset today thinking I’m losing this pregnancy. Unsure whether to stop testing and wait until there are reasons to test, ie bleeding or pain.
thank you!

That does look fainter for 16dpo, it should be stronger. I wouldn't jump to any conclusions yet but continue to test to see how the lines progress. Hopefully it's just a one off fluke for you, and you have a sticky baby.

Thank you, I’m going to see how I feel in a few days.
I’ve also started taking proceive trimester 1 which contains biotin since the first test and I’ve heard this can affect/lighten FRER tests but I think I’m just clinging onto any hope there is.

I found progression on FRER this pregnancy (currently 27 weeks) so much more hit and miss than with my pregnancy 4 years ago. I got very clear progress and dye stealers last time whereas with this pregnancy I'd convinced myself it wasn't progressing due to the line on FRER looking either the same or slightly fainter once I got to a certain point and never got a dye stealer... yet here I am. I have seen other posts suggesting that FRERs just aren't the same as they used to be.

Another thing I will say, please try not to rely on line progression and try to stop testing if you can. I had great line progression before this pregnancy which ended in an MMC, whereas with this pregnancy the line progression was not great and yet here I am. Although I obviously didn't learn my lesson after my MMC as still did multiple tests, but definitely stopped WAY earlier and did far less as just decided that getting a private scan post 6 weeks was the best way to get the reassurance I needed. Really hope this is a sticky bean for you!

Frer progression for me was all over the place last year

My 16dpo was lighter than my 14dpo and I cried for 24 hours, assuming I was miscarrying

Little one is currently sitting beside me

I'd not put weight in the progression anymore

Thank you so much for this! congratulations on your pregnancy.
I’m going to stop testing now and see what happens.
my symptoms are very much still there and not fading so just trying to trust all is well or I’ll go crazy!

Thank you so much - this made me feel better. Cried all night to my husband, slept better last night than I have been doing and feel more positive this morning.
Not going to test anymore and just see what happens!

After claiming I would be good and not test.. my mind has been going crazy and I wanted to know either way.
so I took the risk and took a test at 18dpo today… and it’s a dye stealer! I know this doesn’t necessarily mean everything will turn out okay but for today, I feel relieved and allowing myself to feel hopeful 🩷
