Hi this is my first month using ovulation tests, used Premom tests and the app. 4th month ttc. But not testing temps or anything at the moment.
App says today my period is due in 3 days, however 3 days ago on Friday evening (so 6 days before period is due) I started spotting.
I have never spotted before like this.
On the first day was pink and watery nothing on a pad just wiping, and had back ache and some cramping. Still had cramping yesterday but spotting turned brown. Today no pain, still brown discharge feels less now than before.
Only when wiping and one instance of 2x small spots on a pad, brown.
I have done Premom pregnancy test strips yesterday and today, yesterdays definitely negative and today’s I assume negative but there is a very very faint shadow where the test line would be but too faint to tell if there is any colour.
I’m starting to worry something is wrong with my hormones or something. Has anyone experienced anything like this?
If it was pregnancy related shouldn’t it be positive on tests by now? When I had my last smear a few years ago the nurse told me spotting when you’re not on your period is a sign of a hormonal imbalance?
