10dpo - "rust/orange" when I wipe?

Hi! Just as the title says really...

I'm around 10dpo (I think - didn't track ovulation or anything just going by symptoms I had on certain dates and my Flo app).

AF is due in around 2 days. I know certain symptoms can be af symptoms too, but I've had some funny ones over the last maybe week. Had cramping the past 5 days intermittently which is unusual for me, I don't usually cramp until the day before or day of AF. Also yesterday and the day before had an odd "bubbly/popping" sensation in my lower right groin area. Having some mild cramping right now but when I wiped an hour ago I had some rusty/orange colour discharge I suppose...

I did a boots early test this morning and BFN. But I wondered if this could be implantation bleeding? And if anyone had similar then gone on to have BFP? Wasn't sure when to next test after IB...
Haven't had anything else when I wipe now seems to have gone.

Sorry if it's not exactly what you want to hear, but I was told that rust or brown coloured blood is old, that's why you sometimes get it at the start of your period.

No it's ok! Thanks for your reply. Just a good old case of clutching at straws lol. Bleeding slightly more now, not as heavy as usual however time will tell. Had a CP last month so forever hopeful 🤣

i had pinky orangey and then rust discharge and tested positive that evening. Thought it was my period but decided to test anyways. I can’t remember whether I had cramping around that time

I do still have bleeding but it's a very off-red colour almost raspberry colour and sometimes when I wipe there's one or two red blobs (not clots) sorry tmi!! It's in my pad but it's not soaking it and it's there when I wipe too. Unsure if it's my period or not because I was due in a couple days anyway. Time will tell! I'll see if it's in full swing by the morning x
