TWW feels like forever

WHY does the TWW feel like forever?! I thought I was 7dpo then I actually hit my peak late, and now I’m 3dpo and just want to test😂 fertile window being 28th-2nd with ovulation on 3rd and BD every other day so really hoping it’s done the trick. Had a chemical on Nov 10th. Did anyone fall pregnant the cycle after a chemical?

I think I’m ovulating today, going on cm and I had a bit of pain on my left side. I was also bloated last night and this morning for no reason whatsoever. We have been quite active over the last few days, so I plan on keeping that up until the weekend and fingers crossed something happens this month 🤞🏼

@PandaLife good luck.. I'm thinking of just tracking this month using cm. Problem for me though is that every month I seem to have around a week of it from day 13-20! I must have a long LH surge or something x

I think I’m going to ovulate early, my cycle last month was 26 days, my period was only 4 days (3.5 really) and my first ovulation strip tonight was low but already showing something 🤞🏼🤞🏼 hopefully this means my tww could potentially be less painful!

@PandaLife it is possible! Was useful putting my first ovulation stick into the premom app
and seeing the levels tbh as I just sort of eyeballed it last month! I’m seriously focused this month 😂😂

Well I’ve started doing ovulation strips and I had quite a strong one yday afternoon and then absolutely nothing tonight! Why?? I’m gonna retest tomorrow and see what happens but that’s weird no?

@Bassbeh17 you are quite early in your cycle. Otherwise I'd say maybe you have had a short lh surge? Are you testing at the same time everyday? How long were your cycles pre mini pill? x

@SKLM i have no idea about my cycles before the pill as it was like 15 years ago! I also was nowhere near as interested as I am now 😂 I’m going to test again in the morning and then maybe twice a day this month just to see what happens, it only dropped slightly so hopefully it will continue to rise now! If it was really high then dropped suddenly now I’d be more worried but the first one wasn’t positive so hopefully it’s just too early 🤞🏼

@Bassbeh17 ah okay if it wasn't properly positive then no need to worry I think your hydration etc can make a difference to those tests and as there is always lh in your body it isn't positive until it's as dark or darker than the control line I believe 😊

I'm still debating if I want to use opks this month. The clear blue digital instructions recommend I start testing on day 10 which is a few days away. I think me and husband have decided the best strategy might be to do it every other day over a longer period. I swear I am ovulating a bit later, like I get a long LH surge, because my cm and tummy pain continue for several days after I get my peak result.

I didn’t use the strips this month after I said I would, I just didn’t get around to it. Part of me wonders if I’d try and control the situation even more if I did and be disappointed if situations prevented us from dtd on specific days. If you know what I mean? I’m not sure if it’d just put more pressure on us. We’ll have the odd occasion now where I’ve said ‘we need to do it today’ and it hasn’t been particularly enjoyable, more like a chore. Don’t get me wrong, I still enjoy that time with my husband .. but it’s different. I much prefer it when we’re both in the mood and are doing it because we want to, not because we have to.

Counting myself out now, got a negative this morning (11dpo) and according to my watch my temp has dropped. Cycle 6 here we come.

On the positive side, dry January is over and we are out for lunch today so il be treating myself to a large glass of red 🍷

Last night I had a dream which I keep thinking about. It’s probably absolutely nothing. But the last time I dreamt of a baby, was when I was pregnant with my daughter 13 years ago. I am a very vivid dreamer and recall them very well and funnily, I was only talking about baby dreams a year or so ago to say I’ve never dreamt of a baby since her. I had many dreams of a girl when pregnant, I could describe how she looked and everything. Never as a newborn, but more of a 1-2 year old. But they were very accurate. Last night I dreamt of a baby. It was a boy, must have been towards 1 years old. I can’t describe how he looked or anything. I just know I had a baby boy. Now I’m like WTF. I have at least a week before I can test. I don’t think my body would even know. Maybe. Ugh. Now it’s all I’m going to think about 🙈🙈

I have to say I’m loving the app I’ve now downloaded! Keeping a track on the ovulation strips is saving my sanity! I’ve had ewcm
slightly yday but more this morning so will be dtd later for sure! Gonna try and do it daily for the next 3/4 days if he doesn’t get annoyed by me 😂😅 app says my ovulation might be delayed with my levels but I’m going to test again this afternoon/evening because I’ve had a lot of twinges this morning so I reckon the next 2 days I’ll see a rise 🤞🏼

@PandaLife well I did another ovulation strip this evening and it was just a 1.0 but then I have been drinking a lot more and I think that’s why they’re fluctuating. Just gonna keep dtd and watching everything but because of my lower reading the app has moved my ovulation day to Monday next week!

@PandaLife I remember having vivid dreams before I found out I was pregnant with my son. They would have been after implantation, fingers crossed for you.

@SKLM I have no idea at the moment to be fair! My level this morning went up a bit again so it’s moved it back to Thursday this week, just going to judge it on the levels and my cm and keep trying! We were gonna dtd yday but got talking til late and actually it was nice to take the pressure off as I know the next few days I’m gonna be asking him 😂😂 I’ve got an appointment today for plantar fasciitis which I’ve had for 18 months in both feet and they might give me a steroid jab today which means I’ll probably be home from work tomorrow and can test my levels as much as I want 😅😅
