Hi,

I had a chemical pregnancy last month. I started to bleed very very light pink on 30/10/25 which would have been my due date for AF (I have 35 days cycles).

The bleeding continued for 17 days and turned to heavy red bleeding on 13/11/25 until it finished on 16/11/25.

This is now my second attempt at ttc but I have absolutely no idea when I will ovulate. Do I take it as the first day of heavy bleeding as my period or do I take it from the day my AF was due but was only the light pink bleeding? I’m very confused. I have had EWCM since Monday and have been DTD since 21/11/25 every other day as I just have no idea when I’m likely to ovulate and don’t want to miss it!

Lastly, after DTD last night there was very light pink blood when I wiped but nothing this morning. Just don’t know what’s going on and wondered if anyone had similar experience or advice for me 🙂

You can use LH tests to help guide you?

Cosycomfortable · 03/12/2025 14:03

Outside9 Hi, I have just received some I bought from Amazon. Never used them before so wasn’t really sure how they worked. However Ive done a test and picture is the result. Am I right in thinking I’m ovulating? Sorry to be so dense I’m very new to this 🫣🥴

Advice please

I'm sorry to read about your chemical @Cosycomfortable LH tests can be very helpful pinpointing ovulation. The premom app helps to give you a figure that represents your lh level. I used those in the app and the clearblue ones with the smiley faces, but they can be expensive.

Your test indicates a very high lh level as it's darker than the test line. So I'd say ovulation is imminent. Did you mean ewcm since this Monday gone (1st December) or last Monday (24 November). Everyone is different, but I generally got ewcm few days before ovulation.

I had a mc followed by a chemical this year before conceiving again July. I counted the first day of heavy bleeding as day 1 of the mc. My chemical bleeding did not last as long as yours, although my period was heavier and more painful for the next few months.

Given you had some light bleeding last night, you might just do a cheapie pregnancy test too to be sure. You might have ovulated already and caught this cycle. Your lh test is quite dark.

Good luck xx

ForGiddyDreamer A mc followed by a chemical, I’m so sorry that happened to you. Thank you for your kind words.

Yes, EWCM from 1/12/25, never noticed it before but maybe that’s because I’m looking more closely for signs now.

I bought the easy@home LH and pregnancy tests. I’ll do a pregnancy test in the morning with one of those. Do you think they are sensitive enough to pick up early pregnancy? Or would another brand be better to test with?

@Cosycomfortable I showed very faint on the easyathome pregnancy test at about 9dpo and then confirmed it with a first response the next day. It was a squinter! That was a quick amazon order! LH tests can confuse hcg and so sometimes show super dark because you're pregnant. Given you've had ewcm recently I'd say you're due to ovulate but I'd check with a pregnancy strip to be sure.

Thanks, it was difficult following that but I'm almost 21 weeks now and due mid april, fingers crossed 🤞

ForGiddyDreamer Ahh ok, I didn’t know they could possibly pick up pregnancy. This is all a great learning experience!

It was the EWCM and tiny amount of blood that threw me, wasn’t sure what was happening. I will take your advice and do a test tomorrow. Thank you.

Congratulations to you with your current pregnancy! ☺️
