Hello. My partner and I have been TTC our 2nd baby since February, I’ve had 2 chemical pregnancies since then. I went to my gp and I’ve just had my 21 day progesterone bloods yesterday and the results were on my nhs app today and look like this. My progesterone is CRAZY low right? What does this mean?

VERY low progesterone?

Hi, I'm sorry about your chemical pregnancies. I would say it means no ovulation yet this cycle, how long is your cycle normally and did you take this on day 21 or did you adjust it to 7 days before your predicted next period if you are normally regular but not on a 28 day cycle (so cycle day 28 if you normally have a 35 day cycle for example). Did you use any other means to predict ovulation this cycle and if so when do you think you ovulated? If it was an issue of low progesterone after ovulation hindering implantation then it might be 10 or 20 but not that low as far as I know. But it doesn't mean you never ovulate it could just be later or skip one month. Not a medical expert have just been doing lots of research while TTC.

Thank you for reply. So for many years my periods were irregular, but since I had my last chemical pregnancy in June, I’ve been 28/29 days every months. So my last period started on 3rd November so I’m not due until 4th December so this was done on day 22 (couldn’t do 21 as it was a Sunday) and I had a pretty strong ovulation test on 18th, we BD that night, my Flo app says ovulation was due on 21st, but I never got another strong line at all since 18th. I’ve had a really bad flu over the last 2 weeks so we haven’t been actively trying this month really cos I’ve been really unwell during my fertile window (so has my partner and my son!) i mean I could be pregnant now I guess but seeing those levels, it most likely is going to end in another loss 😞💔 xx
