Hi Happy,

I am fine thanks.

Don't temp but I do know that is you have a disturbed nights sleep it will effect your temps, so maybe it is not going to be very useful for you?

sorkycake · 11/06/2008 14:11

How exciting!

Oh no, does that mean geordiejogger will be all alone on the wagon?

Playingthewaitinggame · 11/06/2008 14:12

Gruffalo is in the wagon for another month I think.

calsworld · 11/06/2008 14:22

Can I get in the wagon? I'm knackered and bored of ttc.

Been surfing MN rather than starting baking because I've got to clean up after dd's lunch before I start, and that isn't exactly enticing!!

Think you're right Playing... I confess to being totally obsessed by my chart, and the dates FF keeps giving me, but tbh, they change all the time, and I'm beginning to see that the temps probably aren't that accurate. What kind of thermometer does anyone who temps use?

Cosmo - it sounds like you've nearly made your decision. I had May 2008 fixed in my mind for best part of 8 months to start ttc'ing, and towards the end of my wait was getting a bit 'what's a few months here or there?'. Ultimately you know when... hope you're jumping off to join us all though!

sorkycake · 11/06/2008 14:37

post your chart happynappies, let me obsess over it

I've just eaten a whole packet of opal fruits and feel rather sick, I'm shattered too.

happynappies · 11/06/2008 14:42

[http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/20579d here Sorky]] thankyou

happynappies · 11/06/2008 14:42

here Sorky thankyou even!

sorkycake · 11/06/2008 14:45

I reckon it's cd10, what's your LP, do you know?

happynappies · 11/06/2008 14:48

no I don't know - it is the first month I have charted. Hopefully I'll know a bit more next month.

imaginarybluelines · 11/06/2008 14:52

Hi everyone, just checking in!
So I am being completely and utterly crazy to want to poas today? D19 in cycle. I am mad aren't I?! Somebody slap me. Quick. And hard! (The slap that is!)

sorkycake · 11/06/2008 14:53

HN what is the normal cycle length for you?

imaginarybluelines · 11/06/2008 14:54

Thank you. I am not sure it has worked though. You have got me wanting opal fruits now sorky.

Meeely2 · 11/06/2008 14:56

all stories of ebay cheapies showing neg much later than shop bought ones have given me false hope! sat on hands.....tricky typing with hands under bum!

happynappies · 11/06/2008 14:56

Last three cycles have been 28 days - always 28/29 days since cutting out night feeds Sorky. Thanks for looking - feel better just knowing you are casting your eye over my precious chart!!!

sorkycake · 11/06/2008 15:03

I've eaten a full packet.

@ HN. ahem,...yes....well.....I don't think a 28 day cycle is on the cards this month HN. If you O'd cd10, then I think you can expect at the longest a cycle of 25 days.

Looking at your chart I would say test at 12dpo.

This month (obv factoring out pg) I would've had a cycle of 24 days, reduced from 32, because I've O'd earlier.

IBL how many days are you ?9dpo.

Meely mine were useless, 15 dpo before I got a positive you didn't have to squint at.

happynappies · 11/06/2008 15:17

so you'd test tomorrow Sorky? But... if my cycles are always 28 days, could it be that FF is wrong? All those temps with the white circles might be 'out' because they've been so early in the am.

Cosmogirl · 11/06/2008 15:20

Thanks for your thoughts girls. I completely agree with what has been said re: starting a few months earlier, it never being the right time with work etc...Think I will have a talk with DH about whether we should ditch the condoms and see what happens....At the end of the day I think about trying for a baby every day, pretty much all day - that has to be a clear sign that I am ready. Plus DH is so much more onboard with starting a family than he has ever been. Will keep you posted on what we decide.

Thanks for your support - it really does help a lot.

sorkycake · 11/06/2008 15:28

HN if you have O'd early this cycle, perfectly possible, then you can expect a 25day cycle as a rough guide. If however you haven't O'd at all yet, then you will have a longer cycle.

Your temps are possibly confusing the picture because there are a few that look unreliable.

Have you had any more EWCM this month?

You may not have O yet. Or you can test tomorrow at 12 dpo.

happynappies · 11/06/2008 15:33

hadn't considered no O yet. OMG - so much to think about. Think am going to wait it out until next week - either AF will arrive, or I'll have persuaded myself it is ok to test, so something else will have changed. No def. no more EWCM. What thermometer would you recommend Sorky? I've been using a Boots digital one but I'm not sure it is sensitive enough...

sorkycake · 11/06/2008 15:39

A BBT one with 2 decimal places is the best because it's easier to determine the rise. I prefer to work in Farhenheit too, rather than celsius. It's an easier chart to interpret.

If you can, have sex every other day from now just in case you haven't O'd.

If not ewcm have you had any other type after cd11?

The cramping through your cycle looks like your body is gearing up for O, coupled with the relatively low temps you have I'd say you may well have yet to O.

Starshinetiger · 11/06/2008 15:41

Just a quick post from work (I'm not really here...)
Ses - fingers crossed for scan.
Cal - sorry AF arrived. Don't know what to say really, but I think that with the endemetriosis, I would be going to the GP now.
So, who's next to test?
Can't believe the influence you guys have. Ended up buying two Sainsburys cheapies on Monday with the excuse that I should test tomorrow morning before my hospital appt, just to make sure that our riskiness mid-month hasn't resulted in anything - after all, I reckon I'll be about 10-12 dpo tomorrow and we weren't as careful as we should have been this month at prime time. They will ask if there's any chance, so I should make sure I know one way or the other - right? . See my desperation to be part of the gang and POAS - goodness knows what I'll be like if/when we are actually ttc'ing - which hopefully will be after tomorrow [fingers crossed emoticon] - there really should be a fingers crossed emoticon on here!
Right, back to work. Will probably be ages before I post on here again, 'cos every day I just about catch up and then get interrupted before I can post
P.S. Playing - if they haven't had anyone go on maternity before at your work, you can write your own maternity policy - perhaps we could all give you the details of our various policies and you could pick and mix to get what you need?!

Starshinetiger · 11/06/2008 15:41

Sorry - emoticon overload !

lastboxoftampons · 11/06/2008 15:45

Hi all - I'm not even going to pretend that I'm going to try to catch up! So, what'd I miss? Sounds like the wagon is practically empty!

HN are your circle temps because you got up earlier than you normally do? If so, I think I woudl agree with FF.

Meeely2 · 11/06/2008 15:51

getting right fed up of tummy ache and general bloating today.

before TTC I was trying to lose the 2 stone that had managed to creep on without me noticing. I have lost a stone so far and even lost 2lbs at my weigh in today, even though I feel the size of a house.

Home, kids in bed and then bath for me I think, really feel like i need a BIG fart (sorry if tmi!). Just wish AF would arrive so we can draw a line under this month and start again next month.

Having been TTC for 2 months now i think I can safely say I have absolutely no idea when I OV....i get tummy ache, I think (hard to tell, I have irritable bowel which gives much the same symptoms!) and feel low around mid cycle, but none of this EWCM or any CLEAR signs I might be OV. Dh and I have been BD pretty much daily, but we had the week off last week, thinking that OV had been and gone, but now starting to wonder that if AF is gonna be on CD38, then OV would have been last week and not the week before like we thought!

Is there NO easier way to do this?!
