Ses, good luck for scan today,

Warning - put down your toast and jam: TMI Alert!

I've not had much bleeding overnight but had sore tummy this morning and more blood. It doesn't actually look like my normal period, more like ewcm mixed with lots of very dark blood but I've got quite a sore tum.

My period used to be 28 days cycle before I got pregnant, early wagoners might remember I had an extraordinarily long one in Feb too - 41 days! I do have quite bad endometriosis - don't know if this can cause complications

Cycles so far: Jan 31 days, Feb 41, Mar 31, Apr 31, May 28

Weirdly, I don't feel upset this month - probably coz I'm still so surprised at its early arrival!

I'm back (some one make me go and do lunch please!)

Cal, without getting your hopes up, it could still be implantation. People have said when they have had it, they get bad pains, and dark blood is a good sign of it.

I don't know anything about endometriosis, so I don't know if it could be down to that or not, but certainly from where I'm sat it looks better than it did even this morning!

Kay, I haven't even started looking at anything other than my pram, and that was only because we were in Toys R Us! In fact spent more time looking at stuff before I got pregnant than I have since! I think once I have had my dating scan, and if everything looks OK (it better bloody be after all this sickness!), I might start buying just little things. It all just seems so far away, and still doesn't seem real, the pregnancy does, but the baby at the end of it doesn't IYKWIM?

Right, lunch... don't let me back till DS1 is at school OK?

kayzisexpecting · 11/06/2008 08:19

Go and do lunch!!!!!!!!

I am hoping to get the pram soon. I would like it before we go to Devon in July as we can use it as a single buggy and its good on rough terrain.

I think that now I've had my scan I want to buy loads of stuff. But I know I will buy a stupid amount of clothes that are white, yellow and cream.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 11/06/2008 08:25

I'm not here, have got to give-- up MN

Get vests, muslins, sleepsuits, if you are anything like me, a lovely white new born set thingy (normally a sleepsuit, a cardi, a hat, some scratch mits, do you know what I'm on about?!!) for their first lot of clothes when they're born, maybe a few little toys, leave everything else till you know if you you'll be needing blue or pink!

You've been told!!!

Am actually quite worried with this sickness that I could be having a girl, worried because I know my house will turn into a pink fairy princess castle over night and bankcrupt us along the way

kayzisexpecting · 11/06/2008 08:28

I have loads of white stuff from DS. I am meant to be going through it and getting rid of the stuff I don't want anymore.

I can't see me doing it though.

Ses15 · 11/06/2008 08:31

NJ - Am I right in thinking you've got 2ds? Pink fairy castles it may be! When's your dating scan?

kookykid · 11/06/2008 08:39

Morning!

Kay - my ILs live really near Castle Howard... maybe we can meet up when I'm there next - perfect excuse for me to get away out and about.

Ses, good luck with the scan.

Cal, sorry about AF , but we'll be cycle buddies this month!

NJ, am with you on the of food prices and don't even get me started on oil (no gas connected to our house).

Can I start my FF chart today even though CD1 was officially yesterday??

kayzisexpecting · 11/06/2008 08:48

Yes Kooky that would be great! We'll have to meet up.

Just went up to get some clothes to sort through, came back and DS was sat against the stairgate and wouldn't let me in.

Cosmogirl · 11/06/2008 08:54

Morning,

Half way through the week - hoorah!

Good luck with the ttc journey, Playing - I really hope you are one of those lucky, first-monthers. Must be a very exciting time.

Can't believe there is only two of us left on the wagon now!! Maybe in the next thread title we should shout out to any other 'waiters', if there are any out there hovering in MN and not knowing where to post...

Whoops - bit eager there!

sorkycake · 11/06/2008 09:06

I have a question

If i O'd earlier this cycle is it really sensible to go by my LMP for dates, or O?

Should I say my LMP is 2 days earlier than it was? for m/w purposes obv. they're obsessed that stupid wheely thing they have is always right.

sorkycake · 11/06/2008 09:12

Ses can I ask? did you lose your symptoms with the mmc, or was everything normal until then?

I can't help but panic because I really feel great. I'm convinced I should be queasy at least . The tiredness has even gone. I didn't fall asleep until 10pm last night.

Feel free to slap me if you think I'm worrying over nowt

But there again with Dd I felt fab until 5.5weeks and then bleurgghh!

sorkycake · 11/06/2008 09:13

and whilst I'm in full blown panic, when are you considered statistically low risk of m/c? There is a week system isn't there....by 6weeks the risk is ?%, by 9 weeks ?%.

Does anyone know what it is?

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 11/06/2008 09:22

Sorky, IME even if you are 100% on your dates, and then the MW comes up with something different because of LMP, none of it matters because they always always always go off the scan dates, (and they can change again at 20 weeks), unless your dates are wayyyyy out compared to the scan dates, then you may as well go off the scan dates in your mind, otherwise if you go the 2 weeks over by your dates, but still have another 2/3 days by their dates, you will be all worried for nothing.

TBH as well, even if you know exactly when you OV'ed, down to the second, it doesn't really matter because there is no telling how long it actually took for the sperm to penetrate the egg, and then for that to implant properly etc. so your dates and their dates are normally up to a few days apart IYKWIM?

Don't worry about symptoms, the day I got my first BFP, I felt sooooo pregnant, by the next day it was all gone, and has just slowly built back up again. People who have really bad sickness can (and sadly) do still MC, so symptoms are not a sign of a healthy pregnancy.

I don't know all of the stats on MC's, sure Google would find something though.

Ses, yep I have two boys, but quite a lot of family history issues with girls so I don't even think it is entirely possible for me to carry a healthy girl.

Cosmo, good plan about making the next thread title more open to those waiting

Hope BB is OK, I know she want's a break, but am worried about her.

Ses15 · 11/06/2008 09:23

I had sore boobs from week 3 until 2 days post ERPC. Mild sickness from week 8 that lasted through. Even had ms and threw up twice after was told about mmc and before ERPC which I thought was a little harsh! DH took me out for a nice meal to help us talk and think about moving forwards (which was lovely) and then threw it back up when I got home!

At the moment I have no symptoms!!

You are not worrying over nowt so don't worry (even more!) on that score! However statistically and logically (who here has a brain that works like that cos I don't!) the risk of miscarriage is so much lower than having a healthy pregnancy. How many weeks are you Sorky?

Also my understanding is that the risk of miscarriage reduces almost on a daily basis. I know a lot of people take it 2 week targets (6 then 8 then 10 then 12). 2 weeks seems so long though!

kayzisexpecting · 11/06/2008 09:29

Sorky, Try not to worry too much if possible. I haven't really had any symptoms at all. Felt a bit sick every now and again.

I think/hope BB will be ok. I think she finds it so hard to be on here because it is so centred on`ttc, being pregnant or being a mum. I'm sure she'll be back soon.

Playingthewaitinggame · 11/06/2008 09:33

Morning all,

Good luck with the scan Ses.

Sorry about AF Cal, still there's always a chance its not.

Cosmo - sorry for leaving you!!! Can't believe we were 2 of the first on these threads in Jan and I have waited 6 months and you are still managing to wait! I think we've done pretty well! I must admit I am excited. I'm not expecting to see a BFP this month though, it would actually be a shock if it happened so quick, fully expecting it to take a few months, particularly as I have long cycles. Part of the reason why I came off the wagon early. That and because my brother is still living with us (and paying rent) we actually have a little bit more money at the moment which I can put towards topping up mat leave if I do happen to catch straight away.

I do wonder how many more waiters there are out there. Most of us were waiting in the beginning so there must be more people lurking.

Anyhow, have a busy day today so must dash.

Playingthewaitinggame · 11/06/2008 09:34

Oh and Squack, sorry I meant to say hi.

kayzisexpecting · 11/06/2008 09:39

I am so upset. The woman meant to be buying my laptop has pulled out. We were buying the P&T with that money.

kayzisexpecting · 11/06/2008 09:42

Pop I am so so so so so so so so so so so so so so sorry.

I didn't read who posted that post in AIBU. I just read the post.

Sorry!

Playingthewaitinggame · 11/06/2008 10:05

Hi Kay, what thread? (I am not really here of course)

kayzisexpecting · 11/06/2008 10:06

kayzisexpecting · 11/06/2008 10:07

I think she may have forgiven me.

pregnantpopcornprincess · 11/06/2008 10:25

I hold no grudges towards you Kay. You lot are my worry buddies!!! . I got well and truely slapped there but I have tough skin - just call me rhino. I shouldn't have parked there, I know that now! Next time I feel the need to talk about something then I will talk to you lot. I'm sure you wouldn't call me a troll even if you don't agree with me.
