LL, the shoes were in a box in a box. I just ran downstairs to grab something, came back and she had one in her hand, so I obviously took it off her only to see the other one floating into the sunset!

calsworld · 10/06/2008 19:33

Well, confession time, I POAS this afternoon too and still got a BFN. AF due on Saturday..not sure when OV was but if today is CD28 and I think I ov'd on CD16, then I'm 12 days post OV - I should be able to get a +ve from that if I am shouldn't I. So I can't be, so I won't keep my hopes up and will just plan for buying some pre-seed for next month as think that may be an issue for me.

Anyway, I'm off for the evening as we have a tonne of gravel to shift from the front to the back of the house!

See you tomorrow, x

OP posts:
lardylumps · 10/06/2008 19:36

Cals lots of people dont get BFP until the day they are due so dont give up hope yet...

Ses15 · 10/06/2008 19:39

Cal - Can't blame you for testing. I guess without knowing ovulation day there is slight doubt but I know what it's like - you can't keep thinking it's possible as otherwise your head explode! (Does that make sense???!! I'm assuming you think like me which would be v scary for you!)

Ses15 · 10/06/2008 19:42

Yum yum! I've got pizza!

I know it's bad but DH away for the night and I decided pizza might help empty my head of thoughts of tomorrow's scan. Any excuse!! In my little mixed up head I've decided another possibility is that they'll say it's too early to tell anything yet! How many more scenarios can I come up with before tomorrow afternoon???!

Rachrox · 10/06/2008 19:46

Wow ladies, all this chatting in one day!!!

Starting to get a bit impatient now.. af due friday so only few more days to go. Don't think this is the month though as haven't got any symptoms

LL - Hope your result changes as days go on.
Glaskam - Congrats in a subtle way when you get darker line.
Kooky - Good luck for next time.
Ses - seems like you do a better job of keeping up than me!!

Is everyone enjoying this glorious weather? Just a nightmare to keep dc's shaded and cool, still shouldn't moan, eh?

GruffaloSoldier · 10/06/2008 20:06

I don't know if I will be able to hold off til July but I'm going to give it a go!

Ses15 · 10/06/2008 20:10

Only a few weeks Gruffalo but if you need a friendly push I think you'll find plenty here...!

happynappies · 10/06/2008 20:21

LL I think I'm 9dpo too, so can imagine exactly how you're feeling. I madly want to test, but don't want to see BFN so am too scared to, and don't want to get carried away symptom spotting, but can't just ignore the fact that I could be pg. It is driving me mad - it seems so long, even until next week!

Rach - don't think I've said 'hi' yet - I can't keep up with this thread despite my best efforts! A belated welcome on board to you!

Cals - I would have thought that there is still hope - got my fingers crossed for you.

Sorky (ages ago now but...) thanks for telling me about your birthing pool. Even though I'm not pg, and not having a home birth if I was pg (complications - pp haemhorrage and shoulder dystocia - which I know shouldn't mean a definite 'no' but I'm inclined to think I'd rather be in hospital with a very detailed birth plan anyway) I've told dh I want a pool to ease SPD which I haven't got yet because I'm not pg, and might not get... but probably will, so want pool at home for weeks leading up to birth. Listen to me raving like a mad woman??!! I'm off to mow the lawn!!

kayzisexpecting · 10/06/2008 20:36

Sorry about the shoes Kooky.

DH isn't keen on a home birth. He would rather I was in hospital incase something goes wrong. He said he will think about it though.

GruffaloSoldier · 10/06/2008 20:38

Congratulations to playing by the way! Its funny how we both said September originally and now have managed to completely bring it forward!

DH said yesterday that we could start trying now, but I think Im going to try and hold off til July. don't believe a word of it

sorkycake · 10/06/2008 20:48

bloody hell, when I left this morning you were on page 7.

I've got 10 pages to read!!!

here goes.....

lixanismapolium · 10/06/2008 21:14

Going to have to start getting DD to bed an hour earlier so I can catch up with reading through the thread before you all go to bed!!!

Only other option is to give up work ..... mmmmmm, not a bad idea .....

sorkycake · 10/06/2008 21:14

Ooh Playing that shove Nat gave you yesterday was a good one Congrats on the leap to the wet patch lol

I grab Dh's underwear and use them to mop the spillage up before it hits the sheets hehehe!

Tentative to Glaskham, but you are all v.v.v norty for using mid-day wee instead of FMU.

I got my positive with a first response on 11dpo of a LP12. So the day before my period was due.

2 days before the CB was a maybe positive/evap.

Here's the shocker. The ebay cheeps didn't show up positive until I was 3 days late!! AND they were the 10mi ones

Even Asda's OB and CB digi showed up immediately at 13/14dpo and they measure at least 25mi.

Until there's blood you're still in the game

Good luck to LL, Glaskham, Calsworld & happynappies.

These threads are turning out rather lucky Do we have the best success rate on the conception boards?

lixanismapolium · 10/06/2008 21:16

So... how many of you are being forced to have football on TV night after night??

I'm fed up of it already and have moved into the kitchen - going to gradually move all my home comforts in here ... computer tonight, sofa is coming in tomorrow!

lixanismapolium · 10/06/2008 21:18

Wow Sorky - how many tests did you do? I thought I was bad but I think you're way ahead!

kookykid · 10/06/2008 21:29

Night everyone - putting today down as a BAD DAY and hoping tomorrow is better and shoe-disaster free (putting the LKBennetts on top of teh wardrobe!).

Fingers crossed for next cycle!

Teuch · 10/06/2008 21:30

wait...Squack, is that you? Are you back to being sorky or am I suffering from pg brain

lixanismapolium · 10/06/2008 21:38

Bad luck with the shoes kooky - the worst we have had was 3 toilet rolls in the bath! Annoying, but nowhere near as costly.

sorkycake · 10/06/2008 21:38

yes tis moi Teuch.

Oh I have an addiction for sure, Lix

Dh is cross with me because I'm still temping. Tomorrow is the last day though.

I need to MN more it's took ages to catch up.

Teuch where have you been hiding, not real life surely?!
