False Positive?

My husband has had a vasectomy, confirmed successful earlier this year. I am currently 3 days late for my period, have been feeling nauseous for the past two days and have now had a ‘positive’ test. It looks pretty clearly positive but then followed up with a digital (albeit on a dilute urine) and another stick test and both clearly negative. So confused, not sure whether to feel reassured by the negatives as we really don’t want anymore children. Positive test was Asda own brand for reference.

I would feel reassured by the negative digital. The test results are very accurate the point your period is due / late.

I would recommend testing again in a few days. Digital tests need a higher amount of hcg to get a positive but the other test is positive. It could he a mean evap or indent and as your partner has had a successful snip it couldnt be a false positive but to be safe id re test or get bloods done.

Vasectomy have a very high rate of reversing. The 2 stick tests are positive, digital needs higher HCG and you used diluted pee.

Digital doesn’t need higher hcg. Both the early digital and the weeks indicator detect from 10miu. The Asda tests have a sensitivity of 25miu and are always giving false positives, there’s lots of threads on here about them
