Vasectomy reversal success?

My partner had his vasectomy reversed 3 weeks ago, he had his vasectomy (previous relationship) almost 3 years ago. He’s 38, I’m 31 so hoping to still be in a good fertile place. We’re feeling hopeful and are aware it won’t be imminent, but would love to hear some success stories if anyone has them 😊

Yes also 29 years ago. I was told that the more recent the reversal the greater the chance of a successful reversal. But my husbands was 10 years previously and it was a success. Good luck!

My now-ex had his reversed 26 years ago (it was about 5 or 6 years after it had been done). We were told that the reversal had been unsuccessful (said that sample had only a few sperm and they were all dead), but I got pregnant a few months later with DS. And then again 22 months later got pregnant again with DD within a month of trying.

My partner had a vasectomy reversal 10 years after the vasectomy. It was done in the October and we got our first positive pregnancy test 2 months later in the December. We then went on to have a second child 3 years later after only 2 months of trying. My DDs are now 7 and 4.

Yep, definitely replied on wrong thread… wasn’t even reading this one!! It was the 42, four kids and DH won’t have a vasectomy thread!!
