When did I really ovulate?

Okay so I’ve just taken a test which seems to be positive but I thought we’d avoided the ovulation window 😅 (I know I know Flo is not remotely foolproof but tbf we would be happy with another child)

The hearts are the two times we dtd, would you think it was more likely to have conceived on the earlier or later date? I’m so confused.

It's a strong positive so I'd say a few days after you had sex on the 19th.

Disagree with the above! I think you got pregnant around 2nd-3rd of this month and are about 10dpo.

You’d be over 5 weeks pregnant and would have a very dark line if you conceived around or just after 19th imo.

Ahh thank you. It’s weird I don’t feel ‘as pregnant’ as I have previous times but it’s unusual for my period to be late so took a test. Silly question but if I took one of the tests that say the weeks, I’m guessing this doesn’t include the extra two weeks you add on (from date of last period) iyswim?

Thanks everyone! I’ll take a more accurate test later! That one was only taken at lunchtime today not first thing so unsure if that makes much difference.

You’d probably get a 1-2 weeks on a clear blue but you’d need to have 25 hcg for that xx

Correct - 1-2 weeks is generally actually 2-3 weeks pregnant.

I’m going to ask my husband to pick up a more accurate test now, should I still get a good enough result if I take it tonight? (then he can be here, I know it’s better results first thing but if I do it then I’ll be solo with two toddlers 🤣).

Sorry I know these questions sound ridiculous when I’ve already got two children but when I did used to test ovulation with both of them it was always on a regular day 14 so I’m just a bit baffled. I guess from first date of last period I’d be 4.5 weeks according to the NHS. 🤯
