Implantation bleeding?

Hello, I am 7dpo today, now it was my first ovulation since having my daughter 13 months ago and according to Premom I ovulated on the 5th November and I had awful cramps and hot flushes and very dark ovulation tests. I have been having cramps today and back and thigh ache which I get anyway leading up to AF. I just wiped after going to the loo and there was red blood which was mixed with clear mucus. Now can I possibly be starting my period early even tho I am only 7 soo? Or could this be implantation? I’m just thinking if it’s the first time I have ovulated for over a year are my cycles all over the place and it is in fact af? I don’t want to get my hopes up thinking it is implantation bleeding as we are trying for baby no 2. Has this happened to anyone else af arrived a week early?

I will add a picture it has happened twice today I don’t know if it’s too bright to be implantation but how can my period begin only 7 days after ovulation I’m so confused.
TMI!!!!

That’s heavier than my experience with it previously but it might be very different to others. Mine was like a light pink spotting both times.

@ErickBrochheyy Thankyou for replying, that’s what I thought with my first I had very light brown spotting not as much as this, but I only ovulated 7 days ago so it’s really confusing me

I'm a day behind you and I had dull cramps yesterday (6dpo) then a tiny pinprick sized blood dot on the tp. I've had nothing since.

I've never had implantation bleeding before (that I know of) but that seems a fair amount, then again I've heard of people having more and it was IB.
When will you be testing?

@CoffeeIsMyLovehey, it was unfortunately my period, I had a feeling it would be as it just seemed a lot and too bright to be implantation, but i still don’t understand how it’s come a week early 🙈

Oh I'm sorry 😞 that's very odd though when you had the right symptoms of ovulation. Do you know the length of your LP?

I've had no more spotting. It was just this one tiny red dot, there was some tinted cm in there too but today it's like it never even happened!

I know all I can think is that because I’m still breastfeeding my cycle is a bit all over the place, I’m not sure how long my LP is maybe bf is making it shorter hence the week early period?

It could be because of bf, it can be so hard to tell definitively.

Who knows, I've never known IB before, but I keep telling myself if I wasn't so aware of everything would this be something I'd usually overlook?
Short answer was no, if anything i'd assume that was my period starting but to then have nothing after would definitely be odd. The plan is to test next Monday either way 😊
