8dpo BFN. Been TTC forever. Anyone else?

Anyone in this am I, aren't I stage? This for me is the most torturous stage.
I thought I saw a hint of a line yesterday and fully expected it to be visible today.
Nothing.
Feel rubbish.
I'd already decided to give up if it didn't happen this year.
Already have DD almost 3 to be so grateful for.

If there's any obsessive testers that'd like to join and post tests with me, you're very welcome x

8dpo waaay to early to test id say to get a confirmed positive (in general the odd person can show the odd positive at 8dpo I know) id wait a few days and test....Even better wait til AF due!!
That being said I absolutely tested at 9dpo 🤣🤣 😉😉 I got a bfn too! I am still thinking my bfp is coming though due to other symptoms. Or maybe I am just over hopefullTry and keep your hopes up still really early for you!

I'm obsessively thinking about testing if that helps 😂 but can't bring myself to test as if its like before it'll be BFN and then I just feel rubbish with a late period or doing the test will just prompt AF to arrive with a vengeance.

Was expecting AF yday and no sign currently but holding off to the weekend to test as don't want to see the BFN again. (been trying 20 months).

I've just had so many miscarriages now and if i haven't had a bfp by now even just a shadow of one, I'm either not pregnant or it ends up chemical or miscarriage.
Hard to keep chin up but I know I'm not out just yet.

I'm sorry, it's so bloody crap isn't it! I want to say keep positive etc. But it gets harder and harder doesn't it.

@Elephantscantjump yeah. I feel like I've spend such a chunk of my life TTC. It took two years to conceive my DD and we have been TTC for another for over a year now and have lost it 3 times with no reasons found.

I'm 42 now so almost at the end of the road for it all now

You've had a really tough journey.

It's mad when I think how much of my younger years I was told to be so careful because I'd get pregnant now here I am approaching 35 and it's just not happening. I may have had 1x chemical but didn't test so will never know. Everything else has been BFN.

A lady has just been posting and she had a squinter at 8dpo and she is pregnant, so can happen of course but as@CosySeason says I would wait to test a bit and fingers crossed you get your BFP soon x

Hi folks. Can I join, just found the thread. Im 8 dp frozen transfer. Negative test this morning which I was gutted about. With my son, I got a positive 6 days post transfer. Very long road for us so far and this is our last embryo. Feel like Iv lost hope now. I really thought it would be positive as feel similar to my last pregnancy, but test negative.
Sorry you are on this shit journey too. Let's hope some of us have some good news.

@kingster1 oh bless you. How nerve wracking for you. I don't know much about the IVF process but what is the average timescales for seeing a positive?

@Elephantscantjump I know! Getting pregnant seemed pretty much inevitable if we had unprotected sex in our 20s and then all of a sudden it's almost impossible. (Not that sudden I guess)

@Orangeroses243 yes true I know. But I chose to obsess.
It won't be long for me and I won't be doing this much longer and have about 30 cheapo tests left so may as well lean into the POAS addiction while I'm in the game. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I too am like this. Ive just retested again and said I wouldn't!!
Negative around 11dpo definitely think thats me out this month!

Regardless of whether you tested positive or negative at 8DPO, you would always test again because the accuracy would be low.

Testing early is just self-torture.

BFN today. FMU and SMU to be sure.
Can feel Af on the way. Will stop the progesterone now and onwards to next month
