Ovulation Induction with Letrozole

Hello! Just wondering if anyone is currently doing the same and would like to chat, or has been through it before and has any stories to share or advice to offer? 💜

I'm on CD5 of taking letrozole day 2-6, trying to conceive baby no 2 but have ovulation issues. I have a day 14 scan booked in for next Friday 14th, and really really hoping my ovaries respond. Trying to concieve baby no2, but have ovulation issues x

Hi, OP. I successfully conceived baby 2 with letrozole on the first cycle of potentially 3.

I would strongly advice using OPKs. Ovulation predictor kits as l found them very helpful as strong indicators for ovulation. I used clear blue which are expensive but took the guessing out of it for me.

first cycle I ovulated but didn’t conceive, second cycle I conceived my second who is now 18 months. I also used opks. They started me on 7.5mg letrozole for both cycles.

Regarding OPK's, I'm having a scan to track my follicles/trigger shot. Did you have these and still use ovulation predictors, or were your OI cycles just using letrozole? Just wondering if it will be helpful in my case x

I've started on 5mg Letrozole but guessing that means they can always increase my dose if it doesn't work x

No trigger shots or scans in my case. Just the letrozole for me. And using OPKs
