Testing at 9dpo?

How likely or unlikely can it be?..
Tww killing me and 9dpo tomorrow! X

I caved and tested and was very surprised by a visible positive on an easy@home at 9dpo with my current pregnancy.

My previous one I only got a super faint squinter at 11dpo. So it can vary! Not impossible but generally it seems not as common as later dpos.

Just remember if you test and its negative you could still get that bfp later!

Caved and tested. It is negative not even a squinter. Keeping fingers crossed going forwards!

If I was going to test early, I wouldn’t use tests like that. I’d buy some Wonfdo strips.

Tests with cases are harder to read. In my experience they’re more acceptable to dye run and confusing results. And also varying dye amounts. Strip tests are cheap; 20 for about 6 quid. And very easy to read.

I've tested positive at 8dpo this time and with my first child I got nothing until 13dpo so not totally impossible. I tend to use strip tests when I'm testing early as I find them easier to read and they are quite cheap

Generally pointless.

Whether you see a positive or negative, you'd still have to test again cause accuracy is lower at 9DPO.

@Outside9 I get your point, holding out is definitely the way to go for a more accurate result. It's nice to sometimes get an early reading as its a very exciting time, but for sure would have to re-test anyway to confirm results.

Is it just me that can see something on that test?

@FMc208 @aLogLady what??? Really?? I haven't no ive felt so disappointed so trying to hold on as I know 9dpo is early! Im now 11dpo so I am estimating as I go of cm i am not using ovulation tests.
I thought this was 100% negative! You see a line do you?! Ive stared to much and can just see lines everywhere on my screen now!
Want to test again soon!! X

Around 11dpo now. Testing negative still. Thought id just update this thead I think thats me out for this month now unfortunately 😞 .

There is a line on that photo but it looks colourless, so possibly evap. Do you have any more pictures?

@Orangeroses243sorry I don’t mean to get your hopes up but I can see something on that test too. I never see lines! If you turn the brightness/contrast down on your picture you can see it even more. Have you got any other brands?

I honestly can't see it! I have zoomed in an out. I tried the contrast thing and in all honesty don't know what I am doing 😅.
Id of thought at 11dpo id see a line if I were so assuming I am out.

It was a superdrug brand 25m test.

I have a clear blue rapid and digital left for this month need to stock up. They are both 25 so will be the same result no doubt.
