Morrisons Pregnancy Tests

Hi guys what do you think?

I know Morrisons tests aren’t very good. I’ve had a couple of iffy ones in the past where the dye has run and produced a false result. However as it’s my nearest supermarket, I picked up a pack of some this morning. The first one was faulty, but came up with a line and the second was less faulty and also came up with a line. I did a CB early digital and it said ‘not pregnant’.

I am going to by another test to confirm, but I was hoping the clearblue digital could be my ‘confirmation test’ 😀- honestly the amount of money I spend on these things! Just want to hear people thoughts and experiences with Morrisons as I haven’t heard great things.

Symptoms wise I just feel like AF is coming, I’m CD 36, think I ovulated around CD24 (if I did at all- irregular cycles, BBT starting to dip) and I’ve been cramping badly on and off throughout the week and continuously since yesterday evening.

Even if I am not pregnant, please can I get recommendations for GOOD pregnancy tests, FR have indent lines, WONDFO and easy at home have given me false positives, I got a light shadow line on a CB early 2 days ago but it was off centre so not a valid line, then any budget/supermarket brands either give bad indents or false positives! Surely it can’t be THAT hard for them to make good brands?

I had this with these tests too and also like you wondfo, one step and a few other cheap ones from Amazon. The best tests I have tried and never had a hint of a line on until I was actually pregnant was the premom orange tests. These were my tests at 9 and 10dpo x

Hi! Thank you for commenting :) I think they are possibly the one brand I haven’t tried yet 😆 and Ovum but I couldn’t justify the eye watering price! That’s amazing that the Premom ones detected it so early- are they good for progression?

im still having a nightmare with tests. I’m getting faint lines on ones I’ve bought from home bargains (clear and simple early detection and accu-view- see pic and taken this morning SMU)

but today I was in Sainsbury’s and thought I would try their ones (which I didn’t realise are the same as the Morrisons ones!), took one when I got home at 5 and low and behold- it’s positive! I am so lost 😆

Wait, have you had lines on 3 brands? Those all look positive to me!

Pleasegetmeacoffeesotired · 06/11/2025 18:36

I think this is just a hazard of testing early. If you wait until a week after a missed period, then the results will be accurate.

Not anything against you btw! I also can't resist testing super early either. I think you have a positive there on those recent tests though!

I have 😅 I know it sounds a bit mad when you say it like that, the lines on the clear and simple (which are 10miu) came after my first positive on the original Morrisons tests on Monday and haven’t darkened over the last three days and if anything have gotten more faint (I really struggled to photograph them this morning which are the ones you see here), it’s only when I’ve done the most recent test that I have got another positive result, so I’m really questioning what’s going on! I’m still cramping really badly so keep going backwards and forwards between it being a chemical or not. Hope that makes sense 😅

I know haha I’m terrible! I’m probably around the time of my missed period now- not too early anymore 😆 I’m going to give it a few days now. I think it does form a vicious cycle when you test early, I always see a faint line, then continue to buy more - it’s a nightmare for my bank account!

It also makes the pregnancy feel sooooo much longer. I found out I was pregnant at 3 weeks and 2 days. I'm 7 weeks now and I feel like I've been pregnant forever already!

Congratulations by the way :)

I can imagine! My last pregnancy I found out probably about a week after my missed period, and went to 41+6 😬 I don’t want it to feel longer 😅

Just popping back on here to say that the Morrisons and Sainsburys ‘positive’ ones were false positives. I noticed all of these has dye run, some only slightly but enough to make the dye pool in the test line. However I did another Sainsburys test with FMU, and although not as ‘positive’ as last night, there is still a very faint pink line similar to the other tests, so if I disregard the three stronger positive tests, since Tuesday, I’ve had very faint lines on all my tests. I think it may be another chemical (had a chemical in August) but will test again in 2/3 days to confirm.

Sorry to hear that OP. Fingers crossed for some stronger lines in a few days, and if not, I hope next month is your month!

Thank you ☺️ I’m trying to remain hopeful that maybe I just caught it really early! BBT shows a potential implantation dip on Monday and Tuesday but will see!
