Late period but negative test

Hi everyone

My last period was the 29th September (lasting about 4 days) I was then due my next period around October 27th- I usually have a 28/30 day cycle but so far no period and absolutely no signs of it arriving. I have no idea when I ovulated but we DTD on October 12th and October 29th. I did a clear blue test this morning (a standard one not an early detection one) but it said negative 😩 what do you think this could be? Have I just ovulated really late and expect a period to arrive soon or could is till be in for a chance to be pregnant? Thanks 😊

Hi! I've had a similar thing... Came off the pill 19th September, period on 22nd - 27th September. Period due 22nd October - negative tests. I took another test a week later on 28th October and got a faint positive on some strip tests! I then got a positive on a digital one on 31st October but on the strip tests, my lines aren't super strong so I haven't tested since as my nerves can't handle it!!

So you never know, you could be in a similar situation!

Argh congratulations! 🎉 😃 I'm really hoping I have the same positive story as you but it's hard not to lose hope 😩 I was due (if it was a 28 day cycle) around the 27th October but the fact that I got a negative this morning isn't filling me with hope. The only thing I can hope for now if that we ovulated late and conceived around the 18th when we DTD and that maybe it's a bit early to test? 🤞🏼

I've just realised in my OP I said we DTD on the 12th and 29th but I was meant to say the 18th 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣

Thank you! I'm a bit in denial to be honest and my DH is away so I haven't been able to tell anyone in person!

You never know - I thought the same thing but it took over a week of my period being late to see anything! 🤞🏻
