I took ella one on day 17 of my cycle a few hours after unprotected sex. The pharmacist said it was the best option. I’m worried it won’t work if I already ovulated. Any helpful advice? Thanks

Ultimately you're correct regarding ovulation.

It's possible that, if you have a conventional 28 day cycle, the egg may have broken down by the time you had sex.
