Period hasn't stopped for two weeks

Hello, hope someone can help!

My period was due at the start of October, but didn't start until the 15th.

I normally have a 4 day period, which is usually on time every month. However, this period has just been light spotting, and it has not stopped for two weeks. I've had light cramping the past two days.

I'm currently trying to conceive and I don't believe that I ovulated last cycle, so I feel like that has something to do with it.

I'm planning on going to the doctors on Thursday if the bleeding still hasn't stopped, but I'm just wondering if anyone has any insight on this, or if it has happened to them before?

I should have added - all pregnancy test have came back negative, as well as my ovulation tests, and these don't look at though they are going to get darker any time soon

Hey, if it were me, I’d go to the doctors whether the bleeding continues or not, as unusual bleeding can indicate things going on, likely benign, but it’d be good to get checked out! I was bleeding inbetween periods and it turned out I had a (harmless) cervical ectropion. It cleared up on its own but it’s always good to be seen. That way anything that needs treatment or monitoring can be under a medical eye :)

it could be as simple as an unexplained hormonal imbalance that month, but I think that no matter what you should speak to your doc on Thursday. Btw, if they do triage, you might be able just to call them, tell them your symptoms, and they could refer you to whoever is able to do a wee scan to check alls well.

Yes I think you're right, best to go either way. Every day I think it's stopped, but nope! Very unusual for me but I do wonder if it's been stress from ttc
