Dtd 4 days before O

So I will likely get my LH postive peak tomorrow (partner away with work for three days today, tomorrow and weds) and that’s going to be 3 days since doing the deed on Saturday. So it will take me to four days before ovulation.

Anyone who tracked ovulation (BBT/OPKs etc) and done the deed four days before ovulation got a BFP?

Sperm can live up to 5 days inside the female reproductive system, some research even shows a week. You have a chance of pregnancy if you’ve dtd 4 days before ovulation. Obviously to better your chances nhs recommend every 2-3 days but yes there is a chance.

No one can really tell you if you’ll get pregnant or not but yes some people get pregnant from dtd a week before they ovulate

I was at least 3 days if not 4, I was tracking with BBT but we travelled over when I was supposed to ovulate. I'm currently somewhere between 7+5 and 8 weeks. As a PP said, sperm can live up to 5 days in the right conditions. I'm sure the thing that helped me was orgasaming after DH (twice), absolutely nothing came out that evening 😉(sorry TMI!)
