Ovulation pain - how long does it last?

Hi just wondering how long everyone's ovulation pain lasts and how it feels to you? Do you get mild period like cramps or sharp twinges?

Anyone?

Very sharp twinges causing breath-taking pain for 45 minutes or so. Can't put weight on whatever leg is the side of the pain.

I don't bother with painkillers because I know it's over before they kick in.

It looks v similar to my husband's early kidney-stone pain!!!

Oooo that sound's painful. I'm just curious as I always get about 3 days of very mild cramps but my daughter gets the pain that you describe and lasts a short time.
